Limiting belief system

Is it a limited belief to believe that we all have limiting belief? I would say not, I believe we are all aware of a belief that with live in a world of finite things. Is this why we apply this understand to out belief system?

The only thing we should be limited by our own beliefs. Over the past few years, I have read a number of books that say we have unlimited power, we have the ability to change anything, the biological structure of our cells, the path our life is taking, the relationships we have, our own intentions. The most fascinating thing about all these books, is even the authors themselves cannot believe what they have found. And that is my point no matter how much we learn that the pie is bigger than we think, and our potential is greater then we have told ourselves it is, even when science is on our side and experiment after experiment shows us we can be limitless, we limit ourselves.

Is it because of comfort? In a limited world we feel comfortable, we get to know the variables and the limits, and we feel safe there, so that is where we retreat. That in some limited way makes sense. There a belief system is formed that in its own way is limiting.

Are we afraid of a limited existence? Do we not trust ourselves with our own power? Why if they have shown over and over again with placebo studies, hypnosis studies and studies with the mind, that the mind is far more powerful than any drug, and we are aware of this, that we cannot accept. Is it linked to the fact that Western culture is based on logic, repeatability, and because of the security of that we fall back to it, almost like a security blanket?

I for one am going to try and experience life with the blanket, for at least a few minutes a day. I am going to let my mind have anything it wants, be and Olympic athlete, a scientific genius, a fantastic husband, at least for a few minutes a day, before I retreat back to the land of the secure and cuddly security blanket, and maybe bit, by bit I can limitless access to the magic of living limit free, perhaps the more I practice the more I will learn form practice.

So today I am going to believe all those studies that show that coffee is good for me, just for a few minutes, before the years of limiting belief cloud my life.

Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency – what is it and how can I benefit

What is it I started investigating Bitcoin when it was worth just over $1000 a bitcoin. I was interested in what it was and how it worked. A lot of people are saying we missed the boat, but I believe that everyone should at least try put a little money in now, or at least use a faucet (see below) to make a little micro-currency. You can read a Wiki article about bitcoin and its history etc. But what you need to know is that it is a currency, that is independent of country. No one really knows who invented the concept of a cryptocurrency since the person who published the paper used a nom de plume. All new cryptocurrencies work more or less the same way as Bitcoin. So as I explain below I interchange these terms. Bitcoin is the original cryptocurrency. How Bitcoin works The currency releases a coin based on a mathematical formula. There will never be more than 21 million bitcoins (other cryptocurrencies do not work like this). Each bitcoin can have divided into one hundred mil...

Access conversion NOTE1: default DateSerial in VBA/Access to SQL

I have started slowly converting my Access database to SQL. The reason is that I would like to take the application online. After trying to use Access's (version 2007) transfer tool, which did not work that well. I found Microsoft's SQL Migration Assistant 2008 for Access, nicknamed SSMA. Which you can download here . When you install there is a niggle about the license, which you need to download into their specified directory and it must be the name they provide. So about the create table. My one table would not convert and I could not see why. After looking at the SQL command I saw the problem was the use of DateSerial. I googled a few sites and could not find an answer The CREATE TABLE line was: [RequireUntilDate] datetime2(0) DEFAULT DateSerial(1980,1,1) NOT NULL, I clicked on the whole command and copied it and then in SQL Server Management Studio, I tried to create the table and found that if I specified the date in US date format it worked: [RequireUnti...
